Churchill’s 90-year lifespan (1874-1965) covered six UK monarchs, 25 UK prime ministers and 19 US presidents. He changed political parties twice, held various cabinet positions and represented five parliamentary constituencies. He experienced six wars, travelled extensively and was embroiled in numerous controversies.
